E911 Disclosure
⚠ IMPORTANT: VoIP 911 Emergency Calling Limitations
VoIP-based 911 service has important differences and limitations compared to traditional 911 service:
- REGISTERED ADDRESS ONLY: Your 911 call will be routed based on the address you registered with us. If you are calling from a different location, emergency responders will be dispatched to your registered address, NOT your actual location.
- POWER AND INTERNET REQUIRED: VoIP 911 will NOT work during power outages, internet outages, or if your device is not connected to the internet.
- NO AUTOMATIC LOCATION: Unlike cell phone 911 or traditional landline 911, VoIP 911 cannot automatically detect and transmit your physical location.
- KEEP YOUR ADDRESS UPDATED: If you move or change locations, you MUST update your registered address immediately. Failure to do so may result in emergency responders being dispatched to the wrong address.
- ROUTING DELAYS: In some cases, your 911 call may be routed to a national emergency call center rather than your local dispatch, which may result in delays.
By using Auntel for voice calling, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these limitations. You agree to maintain an accurate registered E911 address at all times.
Annual re-notification: We will remind you of these limitations annually via email and prompt you to confirm your registered address remains accurate.
CPNI Policy
1. What is CPNI?
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) includes your call detail records (who you called, when, duration), billing information, and service usage data. CPNI is protected under federal law (47 CFR §64.2001-2009).
2. How We Protect CPNI
- Access restricted to authorized personnel with documented need.
- Every access to CPNI data is logged with timestamp, accessor identity, and reason.
- CPNI is encrypted in transit (TLS) and access-controlled at rest.
- Authentication required before any CPNI disclosure.
3. Your CPNI Rights
- Restrict CPNI use: You may opt out of any use of your CPNI for marketing purposes.
- Opt-in required: We will not use your CPNI to market additional services without your affirmative consent.
- Access logs: You may request a summary of CPNI access logs for your account.
4. Breach Notification
In the event of unauthorized access to CPNI, we will notify the FBI and US Secret Service as required (47 CFR §64.2011), observe the required waiting period, and then notify affected customers promptly.
Do Not Call Policy
1. Our Commitment
Auntel complies with the National Do-Not-Call Registry (16 CFR Part 310), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. §227), and applicable state Do-Not-Call regulations.
2. User Responsibilities
- Do not call numbers on the National Do-Not-Call Registry without prior express consent or existing business relationship.
- Honor Do-Not-Call requests from individuals within 30 days.

- Comply with time-of-day restrictions: no calls before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in the called party's local time.
3. Platform Enforcement
